This report concers a case of moderately differentiated (G2) invasive
squamous cancer of the bladder (pT4) in a 49-year-old female patient.
Five months following anterior exenteration, resection of the rectosig
moid and urinary diversion, the patient developed a large metastasis l
ocalized in the right inguinal region. This metastasis could be succes
sfully treated by a chemotherapy regimen consisting of four courses of
carboplatinum and etoposid. Complete pathological remission could be
achieved and the patient is without evidence of disease 40 months late
