Abstract
The synthesis and structure of a new gallium phosphate is described; t he framework structure consists of four-, five-, and six-coordinated G a atoms linked by phosphate groups to form eight-membered rings that h ouse the rubidium cations and water molecules, and which are connected to give rise to infinite channels with eight-membered windows along [ 100].
