Abstract
Coupling reaction of the secondary 1,3-disubstituted allylic carbonate s and the vinylboronates, prepared by monohydroboration of acetylenes with catecholborane, is effected after derivation to the berates with MeLi and in the presence of NiCl2(dppf) to afford 3-alkyl-1,4-pentadie nes in good yields.
