Abstract
Two groups of ten domestic cats have been artifically infected with Ct enocephalides felis. First group has been treated with a Dichlorvos/Fe nitrothion formulation at the recommended dosage (1 second/kg) and the other remained as untreated controls. The total diminuation of fleas was evident 24 hours after treatment. 93% of reinfections has been pre vented for at least one week.
