We present a scenario in an attempt to account for the observed behavi
or of the periodic radiostar LSI+61 degrees 303 in different wavelengt
h domains, from radio to X-rays. Our interpretation is based on modell
ing our previous observations of the LSI+61 degrees 303 near infrared
light curve, which allows us to estimate the orbital eccentricity and
phase of periastron passage. This information, together with the circu
mstellar envelope parameters derived from the observed infrared excess
, is used in order to study the occurrence of supercritical accretion
events leading to periodic radio outbursts. A possible interpretation
of the 4 yr modulation of the radio outburst peak is also proposed.
