Abstract
We present a solution for a chain-like cluster model, when the element s of the cluster are Ising spins interacting via a short-range potenti al. The solution is obtained in the limit where no spin agglomeration or percolation type processes are allowed. We also determine the magne tic susceptibility of the model.
