Abstract
Antimutagenic activity of the enzyme preparation Binase has been studi ed in a set of bacterial test systems. It was shown that at concentrat ions of 0.2, 2, and 20 mu g/ml the preparation did not significantly i nfluence the spontaneous mutation level in the Ames test. Binase demon strated no antimutagenic properties under simultaneous incubation with the mutagen. An antimutagenic effect was found after preincubation of bacterial cells with the Binase preparation.
