Abstract
An efficient stereocontrolled method for the synthesis of stereodefine d conjugated polyenes (e.g.,tetraenes, pentaenes, heptaenes) is descri bed via Pd-catalyzed coupling reaction of terminal alkynes with vinyl chlorides.
