Abstract
Three new general, simple and convenient procedures of intramolecular homolytic aromatic substitution leading to homocyclic and heterocyclic compounds have been developed by addition of aryl or nucleophilic alk yl radicals to alkenes conjugated with electron-withdrawing groups in the presence of metal salt redox systems.
