Abstract
We report a case of primary systemic amyloidosis associated with IgA m onoclonal gammopathy presenting with sensorimotor polyneuropathy. For 10 years the neurological symptoms were the only clinical manifestatio n. A great deal of therapy was given right from the onset of symptoms and the very long survival of the patient may have been due to these e fforts.
