Abstract
Physiopathological changes in the specific organ(s) are reflected by a lteration in the levels of certain diagnostic enzymes in serum. The no rmal levels of various diagnostic enzymes have been reported in almost all the species except goat, a ruminant in which a meager in formatio n is available though they substantially contribute to the economy of the country (Hoversland et al., 1974; Sundaravadanan et al., 1989). Th is study presents the activities of some of the important serum enzyme s in the non descript, indigenous, adult, female goats under normal co nditions.
