Abstract
A vast expanse of fallow land in mid hills of Kangra Valley has been e ncroached by wild and toxic plants. Animal poisonings due to some of t hese plants especially Lantana camara are widely documented (Sharma an d Makkar, 1981). In the present communication, an out-break of Kalipho ol (Salvia coccinea) poisoning in a migrating flock of Gaddi goats, is reported.
