Abstract
Capture, excitation and ionization cross sections have been calculated for the H+ + He+(1s) reaction up to upsilon = 3 a.u. in a sole theore tical formalism. An extension to the intermediate energy range of the molecular method including distorded molecular orbitals to discretize the continuum is used. Our results for the three inelastic processes a re in very good agreement with both experimental and previous theoreti cal data.
