Abstract
(Polyarene)Mn(CO)(3+) complexes containing naphthalene-type ligands ca n be readily synthesized in high yield. These complexes function as ef ficient manganese tricarbonyl transfer (MTT) reagents by rapidly and c leanly transferring the Mn(CO)(3+) moiety to other arenes upon warming in dichloromethane.
