Abstract
We employ certain lifting ideas from Bercovici et al. (Oper. Theory Ad v. Appl. 47 (1990), 195-220) in order to study the structured singular value. This can be used to study problems concerned with robust stabi lity in control theory under various perturbation classes. (C) 1994 Ac ademic Press, Inc.
