Excess volumes of (1,2-dichloroethane or 1,2-dibromoethane + each of s
everal isomers of butanol) have been determined from density measureme
nts at the temperatures 298.15 K and 313.15 K using an Anton-Paar dens
imeter. The results show that excess volumes are positive over the who
le composition range for all mixtures at both temperatures.
