Evaluation by permeation assembly, closed chamber HD (Distilled sulphu
r mustard) drop, static diffusion and TNO GC methods was carried out f
or permeable and impermeable protective clothings for protective poten
tial against CW agents and for quality control. Multiple HD test was e
mployed in the case of the samples which gave a very high sulphur must
ard breakthrough times. Indigenously developed protective clothings we
re found to be comparable to their foreign counterparts in their perfo
rmance.
