Nl. Aleksandrovich et al., OBSERVATIONS OF THE X-RAY PULSAR GX301-2 WITH THE TTM TELESCOPE OF THE KVANT MODULE ON BOARD THE MIR ORBITAL STATION, Astronomy letters, 20(5), 1994, pp. 565-568
The results of observations of the X-ray pulsar GX 301-2 near the apoc
enter of the binary's orbit (at minimum phase) with the TTM telescope
of the KVANT orbital observatory, which is part of the MIR space stati
on, obtained during a series of pointings from January 3 to January 10
, 1993 and from January 4 to January 9, 1994 are presented. The pulsat
ion periods of the source were found to be in good agreement with the
results obtained earlier with other instruments. The phased energy spe
ctra of the source for energies from 2 to 27 keV were obtained, and th
e pulsar's pulse profiles in various energy ranges were derived.
