C. Stroemich et al., MEASUREMENT OF ELECTRICAL-PROPERTIES OF SOILS AT RADIO FREQUENCIES, The Journal of microwave power and electromagnetic energy, 29(3), 1994, pp. 149-152
The electrical conductivity and relative dielectric permittivity of fo
ur types of soil, Athabasca Clay, bentonite, Devon Silt, and kaolinite
, have been measured in the laboratory at radio frequencies from 10 MH
z to 100 MHz. The results are relevant to numerical and experimental i
nvestigations of radio frequency heating for environmental remediation
of contaminated soils.
