Abstract
The electrical conductivity and relative dielectric permittivity of fo ur types of soil, Athabasca Clay, bentonite, Devon Silt, and kaolinite , have been measured in the laboratory at radio frequencies from 10 MH z to 100 MHz. The results are relevant to numerical and experimental i nvestigations of radio frequency heating for environmental remediation of contaminated soils.
