Abstract
We provide the first full-length cDNA and amino acid sequences for bee f heart C-II-3, one of two hydrophobic subunits that bind succinate de hydrogenase to the mitochondrial inner membrane to form succinate-ubiq uinone oxidoreductase (EC 1.3.99.1). Other low molecular weight protei ns present in preparations of the isolated complex, including three po ssible forms of the second anchor polypeptide C-II-4, have been identi fied by amino terminal sequencing.
