POLYCARBONATE ABS BLENDS - A LITERATURE-REVIEW

A literature review concerning PC/ABS alloys is presented with the aim of providing a background suitable for a systematic investigation on the properties of such materials undertaken in our Institute. This is preceded by an additional survey on PC/SAN alloys. The purpose was to extend the above-mentioned background furnishing literature informatio n available on these systems (having two components out of three in co mmon with PC/ABS alloys), particularly with respect to the phase compa tibility. The articles here presented and discussed offer an almost ex haustive survey of the work done until now on these commercial materia ls. (C) 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
