Abstract
Dependence of the isothermoremanent magnetization M(IR) on the magneti zing field H0 has been investigated in ceramic Y-Ba-Cu-O samples with different size particles. It is shown that when the particles have the dimensions less than 200 mum the critical state model can be applied for the description of the trapped magnetic flux in low magnetic field s only with an additional assumption that a vortex-free region exists near the surface of the particles.
