Abstract
The stepwise synthesis of novel lipophilic, optically active macrocycl ic crown ethers (S,S,S,S)-5, 6, 8 and 9, with four chiral centers of t he same configuration and two 1,2,4-triazole subunits, starting from r eadily accessible chiral 3,5-disubstituted 1,2,4-triazoles (S,S)-2 is reported.
