Abstract
Charge transfer cross sections for C2+ + He collisions are calculated in the range of impact energies 1 less than or equal to E less than or equal to 40 keV employing a molecular expansion and an impact paramet er formalism. The results are compared with available experimental dat a and the mechanisms of the charge transfer processes are discussed.
