Abstract
In decagonal quasicrystals, two types of dislocation have been observe d. One has a Burgers vector parallel to the periodic direction while a nother has a Burgers vector lying in the two-dimensional quasilattice plane. In this letter a dislocation loop with Burgers vector parallel to [12 - 2 - 101] direction which is a direction whose projection in p arallel space is between the periodic axis and the quasilattice plane has been observed in Al70Co15Ni15 decagonal quasicrystal by transmissi on electron microscopy.
