Abstract
Intrathoracic disruption of an esophagocolonic anastomosis after colon interposition can be a fatal complication. A case is presented in whi ch an antethoracic free jejunal transfer achieved successful salvage. The patient returned to oral alimentation with no functional impairmen t.
