Abstract
Molding parameters have been studied on EVA + PE blends using wetting measurements and IR-FT by ATR. Surface polarity is influence by many p arameters such as water ageing and molding surface. Blends surfaces co mpositions calculated by IR-FT (Ge cristal) measurements show that PP molding surface leads to high polyethylene molecular segments concentr ation. For higher IR penetration depth (KRS-5 cristal) calculated surf ace composition is rather influence by blends thermodynamics and poor miscibility leads to high surface segregation of polyethylene segments .
