Abstract
The deposition of Conducting polymers onto metallic substrates (Pi, Ti , Al) is performed by chemical pretreatments of the surface substrate by bipolar molecules (Phi(CH2)(n)SH, n=0,1,2,3). These coupling agents impede the metal oxidation and improve the polymer film adhesion. Mor eover, they lend to dense, longer conjugated, polymers with fewer defe cts.
