Abstract
IEF and SDS PAGE were compared for the identification of species in He terorhabditis and IEF (in conjunction with silver staining) was found to be the more sensitive method. The Heterorhabditis isolates examined could be divided into the following four groups according to the elec trophoregrams obtained: 1. the North West European group, including H. megidis; 2. the Irish group; 3. the Tropical group, and 4. the H. bac teriophora group.
