Presently, the phyllotaxis may be correlated with the orderly movement
s of the cell cycles in temporary acceleration zones, giving rise to t
he heterogeneity of the meristem locally and regularly favorable to th
e organogenesis. The simulation of a self-organized growth process exp
lains nearly all of the phyllotactic arrangements. The previous hypote
sis is that the organs are born where and when the growth leaves a suf
ficient space because the preceding organs reject each other. If the m
odel is in accordance with the majority of the phyllotactic theories,
it seems a priori inconsistent with the multiple foliar helices theory
