Abstract
The process of complex formation of palladium(II) with germanium(II) i n solutions of 6 M HCl was studied. The positions of charge-transfer b ands in the UV spectra of Pd-Ge complexes were determined, the stabili ty of solutions over time was investigated, and some special kinetic f eatures of complex formation were clarified, The properties of the lig ands GeCla- in substitution reactions were studied. The composition an d structure of Pd-Ge complexes precipitated in a solid phase were dete rmined.
