Abstract
Conditions of stabilization of highest oxidation states of 3d-5d-eleme nts in salt melts of various anionic and cationic compositions, which determine, respectively, the structure of the first and second coordin ation spheres of the complex, have been studied. The possibility of st abilization of higher oxidation states of the metal in the melts due t o the formation of heteronuclear complexes has been demonstrated.
