Abstract
Hydroxylated products of hydroquinone (H(2)Q) are induced via [Fe(ox)( 3)](3)-H2O2 under light and detected in the visible region by laser sp ectroscopy; reaction of hydroxyl radicals with (H(2)Q) is observed lea ding to adduct formation.
