Abstract
Studies on the stem of Acangelisia gusanlung yielded four new isoquino line alkaloids, gusanlung C, D, 8-oxythalifendine and 8-oxyberberrubin e together with a known alkaloid, 8-oxyberberine. Their structures wer e elucidated by spectroscopic analysis of the natural products and of derivatives.
