Abstract
Eight thrombocytopenic/pathic patients received an intravenous infusio n of phospholipids. In vitro bleeding test (Thrombostat 4000), thrombe lastography, and resonance thrombography were performed in order to sh ow the hemostatic effect. In none of the cases did phospholipids exert an effect comparable to platelet transfusion. Two patients, brother a nd sister, had a severe anaphylactoid reaction after the administratio n of phospholipids.
