Abstract
An electroluminescent diode with periodic multilayer structure consist ing of alternating layers of 8-hydroxyquinoline aluminum and aromatic diamine has been fabricated by organic molecular beam deposition. Pola rization anisotropy of emission spectrum and intensity of light propag ating in the diode organic layer have been observed. The mechanism of the emission anisotropy has been discussed in the periodic multilayer structure.
