Abstract
We report pilot calculations using the method of electron nuclear dyna mics for study of charge changing and energy deposition characteristic s of low energy He ions in Ne. In the spirit of the binary encounter a pproximation, trajectories, charge changing cross sections and energy deposition are calculated for single encounters.
