Abstract
Seven new eudesmane sesquiterpenoids were isolated from the aerial par ts of Laggera pterodonta. Their structures were elucidated by high-fie ld NMR techniques and chemical evidence. They were named 4 beta,11-dih ydroxyenantioeudesmane-1-one, pterodontriol C, ent-7(11)-selinen-4-ol, pterodontriol D, 2 alpha-acetoxycostoate, 2 beta-acetoxypterodontic a cid, and 5 alpha,11-dihydroxy-3-ene-eudesman-2-one.
