Quartz resonators are influenced by magnetic fields. This is easily ob
served in strong magnetic fields (0,1-0,7 Tesla). The perturbations ar
e mainly due to the magnetic properties of nickel contains of the elec
trodes, and also to the Delta E effects also called Guillemin effect o
n the same electrodes. One can observe also ''accidents'' which occur
in very low fields and for which we call for magnetic resonance. These
effects could be due to the magnetic resonance of the nickel metallis
ation of the electrodes. We examine also the possibility that the pres
ence of paramagnetic centers inside the cristal is responsible of abso
rption of piezoelectric vibrations. These phenomenon occur by the modu
lation of the magnetic field caused by the neighbouring of one magneti
c center.
