Abstract
Pine and willow chips were exposed to fungal attack by P. chrysosporiu m and Chaelomium piluliferum; maximum degradation and total weight los s was observed in pine with. P. chrysosporium after three weeks of inc ubation at 25 degrees and the results were also confirmed by 1% sodium hydroxide and dioxan-water solubility tests.
