Abstract
A mathematical model, describing a continuous mixed culture system of industrial significance, was studied. The model included a methylotrop hic bacterium and two heterotrophic bacteria. The non-zero coexistence conditions were defined dependent on properties of the competing spec ies and the external control parameters, dissolved oxygen and dilution rate.
