Abstract
The title compound 1 is formed by reaction of the corresponding phosph onic acid 2 and orthoformicacidmethylester as a mixture of four stereo isomeres. The RRSS isomer was separated. It crystallizes in the tricli nic space group P - 1 with a = 649.2 pm, b = 976.1pm, c = 1571.7 pm, a lpha = 80.9 degrees, beta = 88.1 degrees, gamma = 78.6 degrees and Z = 2. The P-31 and C-13 NMR spectra (4 and 5 spin systems) are discussed .
