Abstract
Nine o-biphenyldiazenecarboxylates were obtained in excellent yields b y the air oxidation of o-biphenylhydrazinecarboxylates, catalyzed by p alladium on charcoal. The miticidal activity of the new compounds was evaluated against Tetranychus urticae. Structure-activity relationship s for the screened compounds are discussed. Some of the compounds disp layed greater activity than did the commercial miticide propargite.
