Abstract
One thousand and eighty four milk samples from clinically healthy mamm ary glands of dairy ewes were collected and examined. Bacteriological examination, somatic cell counting, California Mastitis Test and White side Test were undertaken in all samples. Score ''1'' for California M astitis Test and score ''1+'' for Whiteside Test are recommended as th reshold values for subclinical mastitis, offering at least 93% accurac y of the diagnostic methods.
