Abstract
Zinc protoporphyrin dimethylester reconstituted myoglobin (ZnPPDME-Mb) was prepared and it was shown that photoinduced electron transfer too k place with methylviologen. The quenching rate constant was 5.1x10(6) M(-1) s(-1), which was about one fifth that for the zinc protoporphyr in reconstituted myoglobin and methylviologen system.
