Abstract
The synthesis and cyclic voltammetry data of cage-like molecules incor porating extended tetrathiafulvalenes are reported together with the d emonstration that the two crystal modifications (1.289 acid 1.311 g cm (-3)) observed for 2b correspond to two different cis conformers A and B, the most planar form (B) giving the more dense crystal packing.
