Abstract
The reaction of allylic stannanes 1 with aldehydes 2 (or a ketone) tak es place in the presence of catalytic amounts of PdCl2(PPh(3))(2) or P tCl2(PPh(3))(2) to give the corresponding homoallyl alcohols 3 in good to high yields.
