Abstract
The synthesis and characterization of nido-[{(C(5)Me(5))Ir}B3H7{(PPh(3 ))(2)(CO)Os}], closo-[{(C(5)Me(5))Ir}B4H6{(PPh(3))(2)(CO)OS}] and pile o-[{(PPh(3))CoHIr}B5H5{(PPh(3))(2)(CO)Os}], a unique series of iridaos maborane clusters containing three, four and five boron atoms, respect ively, are reported.
