Abstract
Extrusion of formaldehyde from different N-hydroxy-methylbenzimidazole s has been observed and confirmed by chemical and thermoanalytical tec hniques. The applicability of this behaviour of benzimidazole N-methyl ols in textile industry is highlighted.
