Abstract
The modelling of signals with Laguerre functions is considered. The ma in contribution concerns the possibility of handling signals defined b oth in the negative and the positive time domains; this has a potentia l application to the identification of processes involving inputs and outputs whose knowledge is available near the time origin or for nonca usal systems.
